C’est au cœur de l’espace urbain de New York, ville réelle et fantasmée, que le jeune compositeur Roque Rivas et le vidéaste Carlos Franklin trouvent la source d’une œuvre commune. « Mutations of Matter » parcourt et reconstruit la ville vécue par ses habitants ou rêvée par le discours de ses architectes.
